The Venture Scout Section is for young adults between the age of 15 and 17. Although members have usually progressed through the different sections to this point, it is still possible to start your scouting life here – all you need is energy and enthusiasm. Ventures play hard. They are always up to something and off having adventures somewhere. Those who make it through these rigorous years often become ‘lifers’ and eventually go on to become Scout Leaders (sometimes via a ‘Rover Scout’ Section), giving back what they got out of this hardcore outfit.
