We are off again to Crawfordsburn Scout Centre, near Bangor in County Down. Crawfordsburn is a fantastic campsite which we have visited many times over the years. We will have the opportunity to travel to Belfast and visit the Ulster Museum and the Botanic Gardens. We will also walk the coastal route to Bangor and visit their award-winning leisure pool with slides, flumes and doughnut ramps. We will have a 24hr bivouac, go kayaking in Belfast Lough, Rock Climbing and Abseiling on there purpose built climbing wall and tower and many more activities. 

We will meet at the Scout Hall at 11 am to travel by bus to Crawfordsburn on Sunday 22nd July.

Pocket money is a MAX of £20 stg and should be in small change (£1,£2, .50p), bagged or in a wallet and clearly labelled with the Scout’s name. All money must be handed into the camp bank at the scout hall.

Any medications or medical instructions must be bagged with instructions, clearly labelled with Scout’s name and handed in at the scout hall on Sunday.

Please bring a packed lunch for Sunday.

The scouts may take mobile phones but please be aware that we will be in Northern Ireland so roaming will apply and we hold the phones in a box for the scouts and they are allowed them for a short while in the evening. They can have full access to a leader phone to call home etc.

Please ensure that you have full uniform.

We return at 3pm, Sunday 29th July.
